New Apple iPhone 4G with Never Before Seen Features
After an extremely long wait fueled by uncertainty, rumors and speculations; Steve Jobs has finally unveiled the Apple iPhone 4G at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2010. The wonder phone will hit the market on 24th June 2010 and will be available in both white and black colors. In the mean time Verizon wireless will be distributing official pictures of the Apple iPhone 4G. Surprisingly, the official version of the phone doesn’t differ too greatly from the prototype found a few weeks ago.The new iPhone will have multi-tasking features, thanks to the upgraded operating system. This is perhaps the most appreciated feature as owners of the previous models have often complained about the lack of ability to run multiple applications at the same time. Another feature of note is the much improved screen that should be able to play high definition videos without much problem. The screen will have a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels, which is four times more than what the previous models had.
Apart from the 5 mega pixel camera to click pictures of extraordinary quality, an frontal camera is present which can be used for video calling. Two new features have also been added to the iPhone 4G – ibook applications, that will allow users to purchase entire novels from Apple’s online store and view them on the phone itself, and microSIM. With the reduction of the SIM card, the iPhone had more extra space left, which Apple used to increase the battery size by as much as 33%. The battery now has a talk time of Up to 14 h (2G) / Up to 7 h (3G) and can stay on standby for Up to 300 hrs on both 2G and 3G networks
