Recently Bought an Iphone second-hand and When I am Currently trying to update it, only problem is That Apple Can not detect it. I think It's an Older model, Because The power adapter seems to be and a mini USB or something and the phone buttons is the only volume buttons and home key. Can "anyone help? That put your iPhone in DFU mode:
1st Open iTunes and connect iPhone to your computer.
2nd Press home button and sleep button simultaneously until the iPhone shuts down and the screen goes black.
After 2-3 seconds of black screen, let go of the sleep button and let the home button is pressed alone, until iTunes reports an iPhone That HAS been detected, Which is located in the state of repair and only restored the before BE IT CAN BE USED.

Try restoring, if You have problems with the iPhone in DFU mode
1st Start iTunes
2nd Connect your iPod
3rd Select the iPod in the Source leaf (left)
4th Click the Restore button
In Some Cases in Which the iPod does not appear in the list of sources is solved by putting the iPod Into Disk Mode

There are times When The only way to restore an iPod Touch or iPhone is put Into a mode Called DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) and restore it.
1st Connect your iPod or the iPhone to your computer's USB port with dock cable
2nd Turning the iPod, But leave it connected
3rd Keep the buttons pressed on the start and at the Same Time
4th When you see the Apple logo, release the power button, But Continue Pressing the Start button
5th When you start iTunes Will detect the iPod touch or iPhone in recovery mode and allow you to restore
NOTE: Sometimes It Takes n More than attempt to gain Entry into DFU mode.
