The cost of the LCD is by far the most expensive part of the repair as the labor cost associated with having the new LCD installed is normally not too expensive. This makes having a professional do the job usually the best the best option for all users except for those who have the expertise in taking apart and reassembling electronics, computers, and/or iPhones specifically. An LCD that is broken is certainly no reason to replace an iPhone that functions otherwise. Replacing an iPhone LCD is becoming an increasingly routinely performed repair, which means that the cost to have it replaced is gradually coming down and there are more iPhone replacement parts available on the market every day. Therefore, don’t throw your iPhone away just because it has a broken LCD. Remember that nearly every part on an iPhone can be replaced, which means that usually an injured iPhone can be repaired for a fraction of the cost to replace it.
