This is a great MP3 player, love that it is WiFi compatable, does everything the iphone can do minus calls and pictures. I buy iPod touch 32gb from amazon Only complaint I have is amazon shipped it with only piece of plastic for filler. The thing was rolling around in the box. If they are so big on saving the envirnment get some old paper and toss it in there! Reuse is a way of saving the environment! I expected more from Amazon. 5 stars for the ipod 1 star for Amazon

Not a Usual Review
My primary hobby is genealogy research. I use a macbook laptop, and Reunion version 9 software. Been using this setup since 2003. When Reunion wrote an iPhone/touch app to complement their computer software, I buy iPod touch 32gb from amazon as soon as I learned of the app. The setup is great.
It is much easier to tote the iPod touch in and out of court houses, libraries or funeral homes. And I have found that the people with whom I deal are just amazed at this iPot touch. Makes a good door opener for my work/hobby. Too, I am very careful with this iPod touch. It is large and has a glass front. Seen too many iPhones with cracked screens to treat this iPod touch like a cell phone or my car keys.
I also keep songs and a few videos on the unit for entertainment. This thing is a really good hand held computer, but most folks already know that. Just thought you might like to know that the iPod touch is more than an mp3 player or game machine. OK, I have a shuffle that gets treated like change and car keys in my pocket. It is holding up well.

Only Wish the Bluetooth Is Fully Unlocked
I buy iPod touch 32gb for works and I found that It works great as a PDA and it is better than iPaq, IMO.
The only missing part for my usage is bluetooth tether – connect it to my Verizon phone via bluetooth so I can have internet connection which burning my minutes only. I wish this can be solved soon either by Apple or 3rd party.
Web-browser, email, calendar, wifi, document reading, sync to PC, backup, almost all of these general PDA functions worked better than iPaq 111 I had for more than 1 year.
For entertainment purpose, it works just flawlessly – gaming, video playing, youtube, hulu, webTV, webRedio, news reader, just name a few.
I have a iPod touch 8GB version, sometimes a little slow when gaming, I think 32/64 GB version will be better, but those are $100 more than mine. I am happy with it now.
