Where do i start with this piece of equipment?
It is such a great step up from the Bold 9000.
First of all it is a nice compact size and is not as bulky as its original version.
The battery life is outstanding. I mean I never use my phones to listen to music but I can use it and the battety life is still good to go.
I dont even need to charge it as often as i needed to charge my last bold 9000.
And blackberry have taken this a new step further by allowing you to use it as a modem for accesing the internet on your PC. This means that blacberry is now really trying to dominate the market as there is sometimes a need fro this feature.
System glitches are a thing of the past with the Blackberry Bold 9700 and really I’m glad I decided to get myself one.
The phone is trully addictive and you will soon realize that you do not function fully without this companion at your side.
This is a really good buy, and for the price, I think it is a bargain.

This is my first Blackberry and it will probably be my first of many as it really is on another level from previous handsets.
* Display is fantastic really crisp screen , great playback on videos
* Compact keyboard can be difficult with big thumbs but with curved keys makes quick texting and emails effortless. Far superior than any touch screen!
* Internet browser is good and really speedy with 3G and wifi
* Track pad much better than the track ball version in my opinion
* Battery life generally good too
The only bad point I would associate with this handset is the limited number of apps that in comparison to that of the iphone.
Overall , love it!
Blackberry Bold 9700 – My new little friend

I lost my old fat Bold phone a while ago and got it replaced with the new Blackberry Bold 9700. Wow – what an improvement…The best thing is the size, it’s as small as a 3G phone can get, compared to the bulky iPhone or the old Bold, it’s tiny and fits in the pocket with ease.
Other reviews have mentioned the tech side, so I wont rant about those, but a real neat feature is it’s size, and for such a small phone, it packs some punch. I can use the video and the cam to take real quality pics, the best I’ve seen on a Berry and the supplied hands free is a big improvement on the old big Bold. Downloading vids from the net seems a lot more smooth compared to the old Bold and did I mention the size?
