The new iPhone 4 review, is it worth it?
The free iPhone 4 is the latest edition to the Apple iPhone collection and arguably the biggest revamp yet. So, does the bucketful of new features justify the high price?
This is the thinnest iPhone released yet, an incredible 9.3mm, making it also one of the thinnest smartphones too. The front and back have been finished with a gorgeous glass layer, really giving a mature feel from its previous versions.
It’s retina display screen of 940×640 pixels makes it the sharpest screen ever seen on a mobile device. It’s hard to tell pixels apart on the screen, as the pixel density is so high.
All existing iPhone apps are compatible with the iPhone 4, so you can keep all your favourites apps without worrying about them not working.
The main feature to the iPhone 4 is the front camera, mainly for using in FaceTime, a built in video chat app. At the moment, it is only compatible to other iPhone users, but could be expanded later on.
At five megapixels it is certainly not the best camera phone in the market, but the quality of the image is still high. There’s a flash, sharpness is great, and the autofocus is quick and detailed.
